War Zone Insurances

Conflicts abound.  Russia and Ukraine are still at it.  The Israelis and Palestinians are still at it.  And in recent weeks, Israel, Iran and the U.S. are firing missiles, dropping bombs and making waves.  In response to these ongoing crises and recent events, thousands of Americans are in the thick of it.

Companies are sending employees and subcontractors on a regular basis to Eastern Europe to provide logistical, consulting and training services to governmental and private Ukrainian entities.  Foreign aid workers, government consultants, physicians, drone pilots, surveillance technicians, security contractors, journalists and healthcare professionals continue to travel to Ukraine on a regular basis.

In Israel and Gaza, aid distribution projects, non-profit healthcare entities and private security firms are sending many employees to help those impacted by the ongoing hostilities.

Thousands of Americans every month are risking their lives traveling to those areas of the world as well as to Haiti, parts of Africa and the Middle East, and they are seeking insurances to help indemnify the obvious hazards, liabilities and potential losses associated with working and residing within or near a war zone.

Petersen International is currently offering accidental death insurance with war and terrorism benefits, medical evacuation coverage, disability insurance, repatriation coverage, travel medical insurance as well as kidnap and ransom benefits to U.S. residents and employees of U.S.-based companies needing financial protection during their travels to Ukraine, Israel and surrounding locales.

Although we hope for peace and speedy resolution to these conflicts deeply affecting much of the world, the reality is that the fighting continues today, lives are being lost and insurance is needed.
