Case Study Snapshot: Foreign National Travel Medical
A Brazilian woman was planning a trip to the United States to spend time with her daughter and son-in-law who are U.S. residents. Her daughter was eight months pregnant at the time, and the woman planned on staying in the states to assist her daughter’s young family pre- and post-partum. The daughter was concerned that her mother would not have any healthcare while she was visiting for those few months.
We introduced them to our International Major Medical Plan which provided the Brazilian national with significant medical benefits as well as coverage for accidental death and other ancillary benefits for the duration of her stay here in the U.S.
The woman and her daughter had peace of mind knowing that she had emergency and non-emergency healthcare throughout her trip to the United States.
