Much to Be Thankful For

Happy Thanksgiving2017 has been a rollercoaster, a rough year for much of this country.  Thousands have been affected by great tragedies over the past 11 months as many Americans have lost their homes and businesses during the devastating hurricane season that ravaged the South, Southwest and Caribbean.

Lives have also been tragically impacted by the recent and senseless attacks in Las Vegas, Nevada and Sutherland Springs, Texas that killed or injured hundreds of innocent souls.  The shooting in Las Vegas hit incredibly close to home as numerous Petersen International employees, friends and family witnessed and survived that horrific incident.

On a broader scope of influence, politics has created much animosity and splits and divides among Americans.  But under this veil of negativity and uncertainty, we all must celebrate the positives in our lives and be thankful for what we have and what we love.  There are many places in this world that don’t allow the simple freedoms and the relative security we are privileged to have and which we sometimes take for granted.

As you sit and chat with friends and family on Thanksgiving Day, be reminded that there is still much to be thankful for in this country.

Have a very happy and safe Thanksgiving from your friends at Petersen International.
