The Super Heating of the Doctor Market

Major Disability Insurance carriers have announced a new tolerance for the physician/surgeon market. New classifications to extend the “Own Occ” definition period, some reductions in rates and in general removing their underwriting ban of production on heavy amounts of doctor business.
This is good news for physicians and purveyors. Our good citizens who are doctors deserve the best that the industry has to offer. Doctors work is with people who are sick or hurt. Their work day is filled with treating people who are trying to regain good health and locomotion.
